Dates for the popular Goodwood Breakfast Club have been announced for 2010. This event has been attended a number of times by the SCRR and it is highly likely we will be in attendance again in 2010 (when not attending other MG events).
Dates and themes for the year are as follows:
7 March - Tax-free Sunday - For all pre-1973 classics
4 April - Sporting Family Favourites - Four seater fun!
6 June - Super Car Sunday - The ultimate performance machines ~ cars and bikes
27 June - Soft Top Sunday - All open-top cars
1 August - Performance Car Legends - Post-1970s drivers' cars, including track day favourites
29 August - Classic Sunday - Pre-1966 vehicles in the spirit of Goodwood's golden days
3 October - Souped-up Sunday - Tuned tearaways, including hot rods
7 November - Deutsch Marques! - Germany's finest motoring marvels
5 December - Christmas Cracker Special - Santa's sled and cherished cars to spread good
One date to note is 27th June - Soft Top Sunday. This event usually attracts a lot of MGFs and TFs.
It should also be noted that there are a number of clashes with MG events. Most notable of these are the Cobweb Spin on 7 March, Abingdon Country Fayre and Air Show on 2 May, MGFifteen on 1 August and the Hampshire Pageant of Motoring on 29 August.
